MAJOR AREAS OF OPERATIONS

Pioneer's operations are primarily focused in six states. These states include: Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, California, and Wyoming. Pioneer operated wells are located in well-known and mature fields with long life and very low decline rates, which provide an abundance of growth opportunities through drilling, recompletions and acquisitions.
